The Bicycle Music Company is pleased to announce it has entered into a worldwide publishing administration agreement with Andrew Lloyd Webber. One of the most successful composers of our time, Webber is responsible for of some of the world’s best known musicals including Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard. Webber’s School of Rock, a stage version of the movie, is his latest hit Broadway musical, which also opened recently in London’s West End. His awards, both as composer and producer, include seven Tonys, seven Oliviers, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, the Praemium Imperiale, the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, a BASCA Fellowship, the Kennedy Center Honor and four Grammys. He was knighted by Her Majesty The Queen, was created an honorary member of the House of Lords and is an inductee into the Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame. Webber’s array of Top 10 hit songs include “Memory”, “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, “Any Dream Will Do”, “Pie Jesu”, “I Don’t Know How To Love Him” and “No Matter What”. When Sunset Boulevard joins School Of Rock, Cats and The Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway in February, 2017, Andrew Lloyd Webber will become the only person to equal the record set in 1953 by Rodgers and Hammerstein with four Broadway shows running concurrently.
