“Hey there, Delilah, what’s it like in New York City?”

Chicago, Illinois area pop-punk band Plain White T’s broke onto the scene in 2002 with their debut full-length album on Fearless Records entitled Stop. The album showcased the band’s fresh power-pop sound and the songwriting talents of vocalist Tom Higgenson on songs like the title track, “Shine” and “What If”. In 2005 came the band’s sophomore Fearless release All That We Needed, which further proved Higgenson’s developing songwriting abilities on the title track, “Revenge” and “Lazy Day Afternoon”. In 2006, the band released their biggest hit single, the acoustic ballad “Hey There Delilah”. The song eventually rose to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 while selling multi-platinum, topping charts throughout Europe, Australia and Canada and in 2008 was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Song Of The Year and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
