Led by singer-songwriter Sean Bonniwell, Los Angeles based 1960’s garage rockers The Music Machine are best known for their darkly manic, yet radio friendly 1966 Top 20 hit “Talk Talk”. With brooding vocals, static-like guitars, frantic Farfisa organs and goth presentation, “Talk Talk” garnered the band instant national recognition. Their debut, (Turn On) The Music Machine (1966), also included the psychedelic inspired nugget “The People In Me”, which hit #63 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967, as well as the more breezy California friendly track “Some Other Drum”. The Music Machine and their classic “Talk Talk” have since gone on to cult status in garage punk circles.
